Originally I had planned to take Aeyil on a walking tour of campus so that she could become more familiar with what FSU has to offer as a whole. Unfortunately, due to the weather we were forced to rain check this idea. Instead we stayed at the CIES building and talked about the approaching hurricane that was set to hit Tallahassee that night. Aeyil informed me that she has never experienced a hurricane before but instead in Korea they have monsoons. I told her that I had been through plenty over the years living in Florida and that it was important to have water and canned food available incase the power went out. We also talked about Aeyil desired to travel to Orlando and visit Disney and Universal. The last time Aeyil was a Disney was when she was 13 years old. A lot has changed since then. The last thing we talked about was coffee and tea. Aeyil likes to drink her coffee black and I told her that I don’t really like coffee I prefer tea. Aeyil told me all about the tea from Korea and some of the health benefits they have when consumed on a regular basis.
