Topic/Skill: Review of Alphabet/Colors & Household Vocabulary, More Vocabulary (Outside Household Words)
Feedback provided to tutee: Georgette is improving quite well! I make a point to be as active and physical in my lessons as I can. She responds well to kinesthetic teaching methods. I encouraged her to keep studying and make sure to celebrate each accomplishment she makes.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Georgette is really eager to please me. I feel a sense of responsibility that she learns English correctly and in a nurturing environment. I definitely can tell she is either studying or is getting additional English help because each time I come back she remembers even more, though she does have a couple that I still need to pester her for. I feel that to be a tutor you need to be totally understanding and patient. A tutor needs to be able to adapt if the tutee can't understand the word or question. A tutor needs to be adaptable and I'm striving to be that for Georgette.
