Today when I got there Tevyn was already there, he said he'd gotten there about 20 minutes prior. I let him continue what he was doing and then started working on my session. I tested him on the rest of the vocabulary I had given him last week- all the fruits and some of the vegetables. It's very nice, because Eliya gets so excited about learning. I like to interject some conversation into the lessons to help him practice listening and speaking skills. Today I asked him about what vegetables he and his family like to eat, and which ones he recognized. Some he never knew about, like Artichoke. I can relate to that, some of these vegetables are not present in Bangladesh either. I look forward to our next meeting.
