Topic/Skill: Speaking/Listening
I met with Yongbae,
my adult tutee, for the third time on Monday 9/26. We had planned at the end of the last lesson
that we would talk more about Korean culture as he wants to work on speaking
and listening the most. At the beginning of the session he showed me two short
youtube clips showcasing Korean cusine including Korean coffee. After that he
pulled out Korean coffee of his own which came in instant packs and then we had
the coffee. It was quite good! Overall we focused on speaking and listening in
the tutoring session and I corrected some of his simple grammatical errors and
also gave him a youtube channel to look at which would go over pronouncing
syllables.
