Tutee: Nestor
Today I formally introduced Nestor to adjectives. First I taught him some basic adjectives that he could use to describe people. Words such as tall, short, strong etc. Nestor knows these words but I wanted to cement his ability to use them. I also introduced Nestor to words describing feelings and I had him act some of the emotions out. I combined this new knowledge with his knowledge of the verb "b" and we talked about how he was feeling and I had him describe himself and then describe me and the people in his family. I did not plan enough activities today so with the remaining 15 minutes of tutoring time I tested his vocabulary knowledge of the words we learned in the previous weeks.
