Diego TS#11

21 September

Lina and I met again at Harry's. She brought along this huge packet of her study materials for her driver's exam in case we needed extra work. We did a mock driver's written exam that asked several questions on Florida driving regulations and road signs. I made sure to accumulate a list of the vocabulary words that might give her trouble and we went through each question together. She gave an oral rationale for each of her choices and that took about 45 minutes.

She said she learned a lot of vocabulary, specific to driving which she said would be "very useful".

For the last 15 minutes, we acted as if I were her instructor and acted out how it would be like when she spoke to her instructor when she takes her actual exam.

She said she would study the rest of her packet but she was grateful that our study session was so applicable to real life.
