For this session, Nattaya wanted to
do some practice with writing for the TOEFL. She took a prompt from her
practice book and began to write. This took about 25-30 minutes of our session
since it was an independent task. After she had finished writing, I read her
response and marked any errors I found. Frequent errors I found were using
vocabulary incorrectly. Her struggle with vocabulary has also been evident in
her reading practice. I suggested using common words in order to get a message
across accurately.
