Lauren TS#14

At our last session, I introduced preposition words to my tutee.  We reviewed what they were and the two categories that I chose to divide them into.  From there, we completed worksheets that my tutee seemed to do well on for the most part.  For extra practice, I assigned him a handout with 15 sentences where he had to underline the preposition word used.  In addition, he had to fill in the missing preposition word for 10 other sentences.  During this session, we reviewed his homework.  After having time to think the lesson over, he came with many questions.  Some I knew the answer to and others I had to look up.  After answering his questions, we continued to practice preposition words some more using our surroundings.  I presented him with a situation and asked him to create a sentence using the object I would hold or our present location.  He hesitated at first, but then created sentences fluently after some practice.
