Lauren CP#4

I especially enjoyed meeting with my conversational partner today because we discussed Turkey in more depth.  It occurred to me that maybe I should ask him more about Turkey since I was seriously considering visiting the country one day.  So our conversation today consisted of the top places he recommended I visit if I were to ever travel to Turkey.  The first on the list was Istanbul.  He suggested visiting the Sultanahmet District as well as the Hagia Sophia Church and Museum.  After suggesting several places to visit in Istanbul, he stopped and simply said that it was very historic and anything in Istanbul would be worthwhile.  Next he suggested Edirne, followed by Bursa and Bilecik.  After that came Konya, which is where he was born and raised.  Next he suggested Trabzon, which I found fun to say for some reason.  He mentioned how Trabzon was located by the Black Sea and was one of the most beautiful places to visit followed by Antalya.  Antalya was especially beautiful and a very popular tourist destination.  Last on the list was Izmir and Bodrum.
