October 27, Today at 5pm was my last tutoring session that i have to document with Eliya. Today i decided to review some of the books that we read together a couple of weeks to go to see how far he has come with his reading ability. One word that he had trouble with a couple of weeks ago, "spectacular", is now not so difficult for him to pronounce/read. I think breaking up the words into smaller chunks is helping him out a lot. He is still having some difficulties distinguishing between "B" and "D" so i try to give them to him in uppercase whenever i can so he can see the difference. Now i have to work on his pronunciations of words like going because he pronounces them like joinj. He seems to understand one of the sounds that "G" makes but not the other.
