Alyssa CO#3

My third classroom observation was at 2pm on Tuesday September 13th in Andrew Wilson's level 1A Listening class. He started off his class with a word of the day activity. I thought that this activity will be very helpful because in the long run because it will slowly build the student's vocabulary over time. I notice that my conversation partner/tutee Turky is in this class. It was interesting to see how he acts in a classroom environment. Mr. Wilson kept the air light and animated. He asked about the students' weekends and quizzed the other students on their answers to make sure they were paying attending. The students participated in an listening activity that utilized their active notes skills. The students learned how to abbreviate in their notes to make note-taking more efficient. Moreover, I observed that whenever there is a grammatically incorrect error spoken Mr. Wilson uses a bell to signify that the student must amend their sentence. All-in-all I found Mr. Wilson's class to be super delightful and engaging.
