Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: Turky really likes America. While he loves Saudi Arabia, there are plenty of things that he can do in America that he can't in Saudi Arabia. He tells me there are no cinemas there. None! He like being able to ride around in cars here with his friends but he also doesn't like that he needs a car to go and have fun off campus. I asked Turky what he does here and at home for fun and he answered like a normal teenage boy: video games. I taught him about what a museum is and told him that he should check out the Tallahassee Museum because it has the history of Tallahassee and a small zoo as well. Turky likes the football culture here but soccer still owns his heart. He told me about his favorite teams and that he loves to play it on the weekends with friends. Also, he told me that the beaches here are better but he didn't explain why. Its still a mystery to me!
