Toylene TS#8

This was my final session with my little guy.  He excitedly greeted me with a smile, and my heart melted.  I had to give him unfavorable news, BOM is sponsoring another party in our meeting area.  "Not again!"  "For how long?" He says. So, off we go to Publix and he's a good sport about the change in our plans.  If you recall from entry #7, we played a game, I call, "That's a Match."  First, he practiced tracing the letters that are typically reversed. I showed him a hand trick to help distinguish between the b and the d ( make two fists, knuckles touching each other and the thumbs sticking straight up). With the knuckles touching and the fingers facing in with the thumbs up, the right hand looks like a d and the left hand looks like a b. During the game, he used the hand trick because writing the b and the d the correct way is a challenge for him.  This re-match resulted in a total win for him. Hopefully, with the hand trick now in his toolbox, he won't be confused by the b and the d anymore.
