Ben TS #3

On September 12 I met with Yongbae, my adult tutee for the first time. We met in the downstairs lounge of the CIES building. It was very interesting getting to know him. He is from South Korea and just recently moved to Tallahassee for one year in order for him and his two kids to learn English. He says that English education in Korea is very grammar focused and that he would like to improve his conversational English. We talked a little bit about the hurricane and power outages, and also about Korean culture. Korean Thanksgiving is this week! He seems very motivated to improve his English and I look forward to our future meetings.
