Today I met with Deniz. He really wanted to meet on a weekend day. We didn't realize that this would be a horrible day to meet because of the game though. The roads were packed with people and some of the roads were blocked off. It took a lot longer to accomplish what we were going for because of that. We went to the Apna Bazaar and picked up some ingredients, and I showed him how to make Indian style Butter Chicken. It tasted great. He wants to teach me a Turkish meatball dish another day. My roommate is interested in meeting him because she really wants a conversation partner but this is her last semester here, so we might all hang out together next time.
