Today I skyped with Dojun. We talked about politics and the election and stuff. We got to develop his conversation skills on the topic of the election and government work. I told him about how this election in the U.S. is a big deal, and everyone here thinks that this will really shape the course of history. He told me about the politics in South Korea, and how right now there are U.S. troops in South Korea. He said that people in South Korea are hoping that Trump does not win because he wants to remove the troops from there, but he believes they are there to protect them from North Korea, since South Korea does not have nuclear weapons. He said that the people there are 50/50 are about whether or not they like having the U.S. troops there.
