This was the second meeting I would have with Veronika as my
tutee. I went over to her house prepared with some worksheets one of which we
used to practice the alphabet, I also brought some worksheets on greetings
because her dad had told me that she was working on in class. I was more
prepared this time and also had a video to share with her about greetings that
I think we enjoyed, she and I would say the words together after the character
in the video did so. I think this technique worked well which makes sense since
she’s a beginner and visual aids are usually helpful. The alphabet worksheet I
brought that we worked on was also a nice break between the greetings
worksheets I felt because I let her color in the letters. She enjoyed that and
we moved on to finish with a more difficult worksheet on greetings.
