Toylene TS#4
Sm. group
9/19/16
This session wasn't as physically rigorous as the previous. To warm-up, we reviewed the follow "Directions" lesson to music ( left. right, forward, backward). Students had to stand on a strip of masking tape that was the length of the classroom. While standing of the tape, the students had to jump or turn to the left or right. They had to jump forward or backwards. They even had to sit down, touch the ground, stand-up, jump up and down, while clapping their hands. For the most part, they are following the "Directions" well. However, identifying the left or right is still a little tricky for one. She'll wait to see what the others will do before acting. Today's lesson was on adjective. Students learned what adjectives did and how to use them. I asked one of the students to be a model. I described the model to the others using adjectives ( Ines has short hair. She is tall. Her hair is curly, She has brown eyes, etc.) Each student served as a model, and each student had the opportunity to use adjectives to describe the model. This lesson will be continued.
