Tevyn TS#5

Today, September 24th, i was able to meet with my child tutee, Eliah, for the first time. He is at a very beginner level of english. Today i partnered with Shaimaa to help tutor Eliah. We worked on colors and shapes together amd reviewed vegetables and fruits. I brought some interactive note cards with colors and shapes to make the connections easier. He is getting a grasp of the english language, but some of the phonetics still trouble him. That was one of our main focuses for our meeting for today. We left him the cards and some interactive homework to start associating the shapes and their names and the colors. Aslo, we left him a phonetic chart and pictures of vegetables so that he can practice the phonetic sounds of the vegetables.
