Today I met my conversation
partner from last semester Hyunji at Starbucks. I had met her last year when I signed
up to be a conversation partner. She told me about her summer travels and
having her parents visit from Korea. For her vacation she spent three weeks
traveling around California and Nevada. She expressed her excitement when
seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time. Hyunji also told me about the
classes she is taking this semester. She just started her Masters Degree in
design after graduating from the CIES program. Hyunji hopes to graduate with a
Masters in design and then get a Ph. D. in Art Education so that she can teach
at a University in the United States.
