Topic/Skill: Verbs, Simple Present Tense, Present Continuous Tense
Feedback provided to tutee: He needs to practice the third person forms of the verb. He constantly forgets to add the -s to the end of the verb. He also made a couple spelling mistakes but overall he is performing splendidly.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned:
I am proud of myself of how I feel that my patience has not been tested. I feel that patience is one trait a tutor must have especially if they are teaching new learners because nothing can discourage someone from learning a language as much as a negative teaching experience. Turky is very inquisitive and has no qualms about asking a question if he does not understand a grammatical point or a word I just said. I respect and admire his confidence to admit he is lost.
