Tevyn CP#3

Yesterday on September 23rd, I met with Shu. He and Ruyi are in the same writing class and were instructed to write on the contemporary topic "Should schools be closed down for poor test scores". Similar to Ruyi, Shu wanted a second pair of eyes for his second draft and some corrections on his word choices. He had a great essay, but some repeat words that we corrected. I showed them both the website Thesaurus.com to help find synonyms for words so that they are not repeating words throughout the entire essay. Overall i feel like our sessions are going great. The more we speak, the closer we get and the more he opens up. I believe that he is adjusting to american culture very well.
